Satutext is a one-woman company that provides translation and interpreting services. I have worked as a freelance translator and interpreter since 1995. After receiving my Master’s degree in 1999 from the University of Tampere (School of Modern Languages and Translation Studies), I was employed for nearly 10 years by my Alma Mater as a teacher of interpreting and translating, in addition to researching the specifics of an interpreter-mediated encounter.
I provide translating and (consecutive) interpreting services in the language combination German-Finnish-German, and translating services from English into Finnish. I work with the computer-aided translation (CAT) tools memoQ and SDL Trados Studio.
If you would like to request a non-binding offer for a translation job, please submit the necessary details (that is, the length of the source text in words or pages and your desired delivery date) by e-mail here. As a member of the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters, I apply the Association’s terms and conditions for translating and interpreting assignments in my work.
